Where are your Zojirushi rice cookers made?
The Zojirushi rice cookers we sell are either assembled in dedicated Zojirushi factories in China or Japan. Similar to our own Yum Asia brand, the brand Zojirushi manufacturing standards are extremely high and the factories have a reputation of excellence with build quality and detailed quality control.
The LAQ05, NS-TSQ10/18, NL-BGQ05 and DSQ10/18 are assembled in China with parts from Japan and China
The NS-YSQ10/18, NS-AAQ10/18 and GAQ10/18 are assembled in Japan with parts from Japan and China
Just because a product has 'Made In Japan' written on it does not necessarily mean that all it's components are from Japan. They are usually from different countries. However, Zojirushi do not release any kind of information about what percentage of components are made in Japan so all we know for sure is that some of their models are 'assembled' in Japan.
Please note that our fault rate for models made in either Japan or China are identical. There is no difference.
