My Zojirushi lid button is stuck. What do I do?

Sometimes this happens with the kind of button and lid mechanism that Zojirushi has. Usually this issue is fixed by dripping a little olive oil into the gap around the button and on the white clasp and then working the button up and down to work the oil into the mechanism. In the first instance try doing this to see if it loosens the button.
