Do your products contain any harmful chemicals such as lead or cadmium?
We are sometimes asked whether our products contain potentially harmful substances, and it is an understandable question when purchasing an appliance that is used to prepare food.
All of our applicable products are manufactured to meet the relevant RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) requirements, as well as the applicable CE, UKCA and ETL safety and regulatory requirements for the markets in which they are sold.
RoHS compliance places strict restrictions on the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products, including substances such as lead, cadmium, mercury and certain other restricted materials. This is particularly important for products that are used in food preparation.
Our products are manufactured in highly regulated factories in China, which are required to meet the applicable safety, quality and manufacturing standards. We work closely with our manufacturing partners and oversee the materials, components and manufacturing processes used in our products to ensure they meet the required specifications and regulatory standards.
Product safety and material compliance are not something we leave to chance. The products we sell must meet the relevant requirements for the markets in which they are supplied, and we maintain the appropriate testing, certification and documentation to support this compliance.
