What is your warranty service?

We carefully check the products we sell to ensure they meet our quality standards and are supplied in good working order. However, in the unlikely event that you experience a manufacturing fault, all Yum Asia products are covered by a 2-year warranty, subject to the applicable regional warranty terms and conditions.

What Does the Warranty Cover?

Our warranty covers manufacturing defects, including faults relating to workmanship or components.

It does not cover:

  • Accidental damage.

  • Malicious or intentional damage.

  • Damage caused by misuse or incorrect operation.

  • Damage caused by failure to follow the product's care, cleaning or usage instructions.

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Products used for commercial purposes.

The warranty applies to products purchased for normal household use. As with most consumer warranties, our warranty does not cover commercial use. If a product is used in a commercial environment or for commercial purposes, the warranty is not valid.

Where Does the Warranty Apply?

Our warranty applies to purchases made directly from Yum Asia or an authorised sales channel.

At present, we do not operate a network of independent authorised resellers. Our authorised marketplace presence includes Amazon Marketplace. If you purchased your product from another retailer or third-party seller, you should contact the seller directly for warranty support.

Warranty and Countries We Ship To

We provide warranty support only in countries to which we officially ship.

If you purchase a product for use in a country that we do not ship to, our warranty support will normally be provided through the original country to which the order was delivered.

For example, if a product is purchased and delivered to a supported country and is subsequently taken to a country outside our normal delivery area, the warranty does not transfer to that new country. Any warranty service would need to be arranged through the original supported delivery country.

This is important because warranty returns, repairs, replacement products and spare parts all depend on the delivery and logistics infrastructure available in the supported region.

Incorrect Product Supplied

Although we have processes in place to check orders before dispatch, occasionally an incorrect product may be shipped.

If you receive a product that is different from the one you ordered, please contact us by email immediately so that we can investigate and rectify the error.

For warranty and after-sales purposes, we can only provide warranty service and spare parts for the specific product recorded against your order. Please therefore contact us before using a product if you believe the wrong model has been supplied.

Yum Asia Inner Bowl Warranty

The inner bowls supplied with Yum Asia rice cookers are covered by a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase, subject to the applicable care and usage requirements.

The inner bowl warranty applies only where the bowl has been used and maintained correctly. It does not cover damage resulting from:

  • Misuse or incorrect handling.

  • Failure to follow the care instructions.

  • Dishwasher use where this is not permitted.

  • Scratching or other damage caused by inappropriate utensils.

  • General wear and tear or damage caused by improper use.

Inner bowls are consumable components that require appropriate care, particularly where they have a non-stick or ceramic coating.

Zojirushi Inner Bowls

Zojirushi inner bowls are excluded from the warranty provided by Yum Asia.

If you require warranty assistance relating specifically to a Zojirushi inner bowl, please contact the original seller or manufacturer as appropriate.
