Where is Fuji made?
Fuji is assembled in dedicated specialist factories in China, using internationally sourced components and materials.
The factories we work with also manufacture rice cookers for a number of well-established premium brands, including Cuckoo, Cuchen, Panasonic and Tiger. This means the facilities have extensive experience in the design and manufacture of sophisticated rice-cooking appliances.
International Components
Although Fuji is assembled in China, its components are not necessarily all manufactured there.
We source selected parts and materials internationally, including components from:
Japan
South Korea
Germany
Other specialist manufacturing locations where appropriate
This is standard practice for modern electronic appliances. It is relatively unusual today for a sophisticated appliance to be entirely manufactured and assembled in a single country.
Many manufacturers, including premium appliance brands, use specialist components from different countries and then bring those components together for final assembly. Displays, electronic components, cooking bowls and other specialist parts may therefore originate from different manufacturing locations.
Manufacturing & Quality Control
The factories we use operate comprehensive manufacturing and quality-control procedures, and our manufacturing arrangements have been independently inspected.
Yum Asia works closely with its manufacturing partners to specify the materials, components, construction and performance requirements of Fuji. The finished product is then subjected to extensive testing to ensure it meets our standards.
For us, the important consideration is not simply where a product is assembled, but the quality of the components, manufacturing process, testing and finished appliance.
Regional Quality Assurance
Fuji models supplied to different markets are manufactured and supplied to meet the relevant requirements for those regions.

The fact that Fuji is assembled in China does not mean that it is a generic or off-the-shelf appliance. We specify and develop the product around the features, performance and quality standards we want to deliver to our customers.
