The outside of my Fuji Joubu bowl has speckles / spots. Is it defective?

Speckled Finish on the Outside of the Joubu Bowl

You may notice that the outside of your Joubu inner cooking bowl has a slightly speckled or mottled appearance.

This is completely normal and is not a defect or damage to the bowl.

Why Does the Joubu Bowl Look Speckled?

The exterior of the Joubu bowl has a speckled painted finish that forms part of its manufacturing and design process.

Because this coating is applied using a process that naturally produces variation, no two Joubu bowls will necessarily look exactly the same.

You may therefore notice differences in:

• The size of the speckles

• The density of the speckled effect

• The distribution of the pattern

• The overall appearance of the exterior coating

These variations are normal characteristics of the finish and do not affect the performance, durability or safety of the inner bowl.

So if your new Joubu bowl looks slightly different from another bowl or from photographs of the product, there is no need to worry — this natural variation is normal and does not indicate a problem with your bowl.
