Is it ok to cook a small amount of rice in the Fuji cooker?
Yes! Fuji can successfully cook as little as half a cup of rice, even though it has a larger maximum rice-cooking capacity.
We specifically designed and calibrated Fuji so that it can produce excellent results when cooking small quantities of rice, rather than requiring you to fill the bowl to achieve good results.
This makes Fuji particularly practical for single portions, couples and smaller households, where you may not need to cook a large batch of rice.
Small or Full Portions
Whether you're cooking a small amount or a larger batch, Fuji is designed to deliver consistently well-cooked rice.
You can therefore cook:
½ cup of rice for a small individual portion
Larger quantities when required
Up to 4 cups of uncooked rice at full capacity
The cooking system is carefully calibrated to handle smaller quantities, so half a cup of rice can come out just as well cooked as a full 4-cup batch.
You don't need to cook a large quantity simply to get great results – Fuji is designed to perform just as well when you're cooking a small portion.
