How is the Bamboo inner bowl heated?

Bamboo is an Induction Heating (IH) rice cooker, which means it uses electromagnetic induction to generate heat directly within the inner cooking bowl rather than relying solely on a conventional heating element underneath it.

Inside the cooker are induction coils that generate a rapidly changing electromagnetic field. This causes electrical currents to be induced within the specially designed inner bowl, making the bowl itself heat up and transfer heat directly to the rice, water and other ingredients.

Even Heat Distribution

Because the inner bowl is heated directly, heat is distributed more evenly around the cooking vessel rather than being concentrated primarily at the base.

This helps provide:
