Where is Tsuki made?
Tsuki is assembled in dedicated, specialist rice cooker factories in China, working to the manufacturing and quality requirements specified by Yum Asia.
The factories we work with also manufacture rice cookers for established premium brands including Cuckoo, Cuchen, Panasonic and Tiger, giving them extensive experience in producing sophisticated rice cooking appliances.
International Components
Although Tsuki is assembled in China, not every component necessarily originates from China.
Modern appliances are commonly manufactured using a global supply chain, with specialist components sourced from different countries according to their design, performance and manufacturing requirements.
For our products, components can come from countries including:

This approach allows us to source specialist components and materials from manufacturers with the appropriate expertise.
It is actually relatively uncommon nowadays for a sophisticated electrical appliance to be completely manufactured and assembled in a single country. Most modern consumer electronics and kitchen appliances use international supply chains, with components manufactured in different countries before final assembly takes place.
Quality Control & Manufacturing Standards
The factories we use operate comprehensive quality control and manufacturing procedures, covering areas such as component inspection, assembly, production testing and finished-product quality checks.
We have also had our manufacturing processes and facilities independently inspected, helping us ensure that the products being produced meet the standards and specifications we require.
For us, where a product is assembled is only one part of the quality equation. The quality of the components, manufacturing processes, testing, inspection and final product are all important.

We believe it is important to look beyond simply asking "Where is it made?"
A modern rice cooker can be assembled in one country while using specialist components from several others. What matters is how the product is designed, which components are selected, where those components come from, how the appliance is manufactured, how it is tested and what quality controls are applied throughout the process.
Tsuki has been developed with all of these factors in mind, combining Yum Asia's design and engineering requirements with experienced manufacturing facilities and an international component supply chain to create the finished rice cooker.
