Is it ok to cook a small amount of rice in Tsuki?
Yes! Tsuki can successfully cook as little as half a cup of rice.
Although Tsuki has a maximum capacity of 2.5 cups of uncooked rice, we specifically designed and tested it to ensure that it can also produce excellent results when cooking much smaller quantities.
Small Quantities, Great Results
You don't need to fill the bowl to get good results from Tsuki.
A ½ cup of uncooked rice can be cooked successfully, making Tsuki particularly well suited to:
Single portions
Couples
Small meals
People who prefer to cook fresh rice for each meal
Smaller portions of different rice varieties
We made sure that Tsuki's cooking system could handle these smaller quantities properly, rather than designing it solely around its maximum capacity.
From Half a Cup to Full Capacity
Whether you're cooking ½ cup for yourself or the full 2.5-cup capacity for a larger meal, Tsuki is designed to provide consistently good rice-cooking results.
Half a cup of rice can come out just as successfully as a full 2.5-cup batch, giving you the flexibility to cook exactly the amount you need without having to prepare unnecessary leftovers.
Tsuki is small enough for one portion, but capable enough to cook up to 2.5 cups when you need it.
