Is it ok to cook a small amount of rice in Panda?
Yes! Panda can successfully cook as little as half a cup of uncooked rice.
Although Panda has a 3.5-cup maximum rice capacity, we specifically designed and calibrated its cooking system to handle much smaller quantities as well.
This means you don't need to cook a large batch simply because you own a larger-capacity rice cooker. Whether you're cooking for one person or preparing a full batch for the family, Panda is designed to deliver excellent results across its usable capacity range.
Excellent Results Even With Small Quantities
We specifically tested Panda to ensure that ½ cup of rice can be cooked successfully, with the aim of producing rice with the same excellent texture and consistency that you would expect when cooking a full 3.5-cup capacity.
This is particularly useful for:
Single-person meals
Small portions
Couples
Cooking rice fresh for one meal
Avoiding unnecessary leftovers
So if you're cooking for yourself, you don't need to fill the bowl just to get good results.
½ cup or 3.5 cups – Panda is designed to cook your rice properly.
Compact Portions, Full Performance
One of the advantages of Panda's advanced cooking technology is its ability to intelligently manage the cooking process rather than simply relying on a fixed cooking time.
This helps Panda adapt the cooking cycle to the quantity being prepared, allowing it to produce consistently good results whether you're cooking a small portion or a larger batch.
Small portion? No problem. Panda still delivers the same great rice.
