How does Panda cook the rice, is it boiled?
No. Panda does not simply boil rice.
Panda is an Advanced Fuzzy Logic rice cooker that uses intelligent temperature control and a carefully programmed 7-phase cooking process to prepare rice.
Rather than simply heating water until it boils and then switching off, Panda continuously manages the cooking temperature and timing throughout the cooking cycle. This allows it to adapt the cooking process and help produce consistently well-cooked rice with the desired texture.
Panda's 7-Phase Cooking Process
Panda uses seven distinct stages during its rice cooking programmes:
Preheat – Panda gently brings the inner bowl and its contents up to the required starting temperature.
Absorb Water – The rice begins absorbing water as the cooking process progresses.
Heating – The temperature is increased to continue preparing the rice and bring the contents towards boiling.
Boiling – The rice cooks at a controlled boiling temperature.
Braising – Panda carefully controls the heat to allow the rice to finish cooking and develop its texture.
Absorb Water – The final absorption stage allows the rice to take up remaining moisture as required.
Keep Warm – Once cooking is complete, Panda automatically transitions to its keep-warm function to maintain the cooked rice ready for serving.
The exact temperature and timing of these stages are controlled by Panda's Fuzzy Logic processing, rather than relying on one fixed temperature throughout the entire cooking cycle.
Why Use Multiple Cooking Phases?
Rice changes considerably throughout the cooking process. Simply bringing rice and water to a boil does not provide the same level of control as carefully managing the temperature throughout cooking.
Panda's multi-phase system allows the cooker to adjust the cooking conditions at different points in the cycle, helping to control water absorption, heating, boiling and the final cooking stages.
This is one of the key differences between an advanced Fuzzy Logic rice cooker and a basic appliance that simply heats a pot of rice and water until the cooking cycle ends.
The combination of temperature adjustments, cooking phases and Fuzzy Logic processing is what helps Panda produce consistently excellent rice, rather than simply boiling it.

Intelligent Cooking, Not Just Boiling
Panda's cooking technology is designed to take much of the guesswork out of rice preparation.
Preheat → Absorb Water → Heating → Boiling → Braising → Absorb Water → Keep Warm
Each phase has a role in the overall cooking process, with Panda's Fuzzy Logic system controlling the temperature and timing to help achieve excellent rice results time after time.
That's why Panda is much more than a simple rice boiler – it is an intelligent, multi-stage rice cooking system designed around how rice actually cooks.
