Does Tsuki have a timer?

Yes! Tsuki has a convenient preset timer function that can be set for up to 24 hours in advance.

This makes it easy to fit rice cooking and other suitable cooking programmes around your daily routine. You can set Tsuki in the morning so that freshly cooked rice is ready when you return from work, or set it before bed so that warm porridge is ready for breakfast on a cold winter morning.

How Does the Tsuki Preset Timer Work?

There is one important point to understand when using Tsuki's preset timer:

You set the timer for when you want the cooking function to FINISH – not when you want it to START.

Tsuki then calculates when it needs to begin cooking so that your selected food is completed at the time you have specified.

Example: Rice Ready at 1pm

Imagine it is 9:00am and you want your white rice to be fully cooked and ready to eat at 1:00pm.

There are 4 hours between 9:00am and 1:00pm.

You would therefore:

9:00am → Select WHITE RICE → Set the preset timer to 4 hours → Start

Tsuki will then automatically calculate when to begin the cooking process so that the rice is finished and ready at 1:00pm.

You don't need to work out the cooking start time yourself – Tsuki does this automatically.

Perfect for Busy Days

The 24-hour preset timer is particularly useful when you want your food to be ready around your schedule.

For example:

  • Before leaving for work: Set Tsuki so your rice is ready when you get home.

  • Before going to bed: Set the timer so porridge is ready for breakfast.

  • Planning meals: Set your cooking programme in advance so your food is ready at your chosen mealtime.

Remember: It's a "Ready By" Timer

The easiest way to think about Tsuki's preset timer is:

Tell Tsuki how many hours from now you want the food to be ready, and Tsuki works out when to start cooking.

So, if it is 9:00am and you want your rice ready at 1:00pm, simply set the preset timer for 4 hours.

Up to 24 hours in advance – set Tsuki and have your food ready when you need it.
