Does Sakura have an ON/OFF button?

Yes! Sakura can be easily switched off when you are not using a cooking programme.

Turning Sakura OFF

To turn Sakura OFF, make sure that no menu function is currently selected or running, then press and hold the CANCEL button.

Press and hold CANCEL until the display switches off and Sakura enters its standby/off state.

Turning Sakura Back ON

To turn Sakura back ON, simply press the CANCEL button once again.

Sakura will return to its normal standby state, ready for you to select a cooking function.

Important

The CANCEL button should only be used to turn Sakura off when no cooking programme is selected or running. If Sakura is actively cooking or keeping food warm, pressing CANCEL will cancel the current programme rather than simply switching the display off.

In short:

OFF → Long press CANCEL

ON → Press CANCEL

This provides a simple way to switch Sakura's control panel off when the cooker is not being used.
