Does Panda have a timer?
Does Panda Have a Preset Timer?
Yes! Panda has a convenient preset timer feature that can be set for up to 24 hours in advance.
This allows you to plan ahead and have your rice ready exactly when you want it β whether that's a fresh batch of rice waiting for you when you get home from work or a warm bowl of porridge ready for breakfast.
How the Panda Preset Timer Works
The important thing to remember is that the timer is set for when you want the cooking programme to finish, rather than when you want the cooker to start cooking.
You simply tell Panda how many hours from now you want your food to be ready.
Example
Imagine it is 9:00am and you want your white rice to be ready at 1:00pm.
That's four hours from now, so you would:
Set the preset timer to 4 hours.
Panda will then manage the cooking process so that your rice is completed and ready to eat at approximately 1:00pm.
You don't need to calculate when Panda needs to start cooking β the cooker takes care of the cooking timing for you.
Up to 24 Hours in Advance
With a 24-hour preset timer, Panda gives you plenty of flexibility for meal planning.
You can use it for things such as:
π Having rice ready when you arrive home from work
π₯£ Preparing porridge for breakfast
π Planning rice around family mealtimes
β° Setting up cooking in advance when you're busy
Simply set the number of hours until you want the food to be ready, and Panda takes care of the rest.
In short: Panda's preset timer is a "ready by" timer β not a "start cooking at" timer β and it can be programmed up to 24 hours ahead.
